I document this on the eve of the launch of “Lightfall,” “Destiny 2”’s (“D2”’s) newest story expansion, although hopefully by the day this article is published I’ll have spent some hours exploring the cyberpunk city environment of Neomuna. I am the most excited I’ve been for any piece of media in years.

This is a huge moment for the narrative arc, which game studio Bungie has been working towards for over half a decade. At last, the Darkness that has been threatening the remnants of humanity is here, and it’s hour for players to advance together with allies, aged and new, to thrust ass in the identify of protecting the people we love.

With this extension comes a new gender non-conforming canon: the reveal of the Cloudstriders, cybernetically enhanced protectors of Neomuna, including Nimbus, “D2”’s first canonically nonbinary character (who uses they/them pronouns). And can I say, they are just — whew — like — WOW. I can already tell that I’m going to be weak for Nimbus from their appearance in promotional materials because they are hot. From what I’ve seen, they seem appreciate the young, brash, charming, cocky sort; but that cockiness is warranted because

All Destiny 2 Diverse Characters

Bungie is one of those companies that care about LGBTQ+ themes, especially because some of its employees grew up without proper representation of gay characters in video games. That's why Destiny 2 - and by prolongation, the original Destiny as well - are made to be inclusive and offer plenty of great characters for players to spot with and concern about. Some of Destiny and Destiny 2's most iconic characters happen to be queer, and apart from their respective lore entries, it would be hard to perceive because they are first and main characters in a complex universe where gender identity and sexuality are not something people dwell on.

Destiny 2 in particular makes an effort to be a game where LGBTQ+ themes are there in subtle ways so that players willing to dig thick down into the lore will locate pleasant surprises along the way. This is something that Destiny 2 does very well, and it also tries to tear down barriers between races, as the Guardians have found modern allies in the Cabal and the Eliksni. Maybe this will soon involve the Hive as well, once The Witch Queen enlargement launches and Savathun's true intentions will finally be

Alleged leaked sex tape of streamer Destiny and Nick Fuentes surfaces online

A leaked explicit video allegedly involving streamer Destiny and far-right commentator Nick Fuentes has been circulating online, sparking widespread speculation.

The video appears to show a dude resembling Destiny engaged in a sexual act with another man, leading social media users to speculate that Fuentes may be the other person involved.

The speculation grew after a clip from Destiny’s August 2022 stream resurfaced, in which Fuentes appeared as a guest. During the stream, Fuentes made comments suggesting both men shared a reciprocal interest in attachment with other men, further fueling rumors.

In addition, screenshots from Destiny’s chat logs from the same period surfaced, in which Destiny hinted at having homosexual fantasies.

After a lot of suspicion and hints, Bungie has confirmed that two Guardians in Destiny 2 are in fact gay and in love. The topic has surprisingly been around for a while among fans as there was much discussion as to whether or not Saint and Osiris actually were gay or were just being portrayed in a different way. Both sides had their own arguments as to why or why not that have flooded Reddit for a while. Today, the news was confirmed by Bungie Narrative Architect, Robert Brookes.

Brookes posted a lengthy read on Twitter in which he talked a bit about his own experiences and coming to work for Bungie. Apparently, ever since he joined, he felt the two characters were gay and continued to compose them as such. In his own words taken from Twitter…

"I've been writing Saint and Osiris as gay since I started working at Bungie, because that's who they were before. They are private and nuanced characters. There was never a room in which to unequivocally mention their identities. But nuance is lost in an age of que
