Matthew Finian Nowell, “Finn,” (March 10, 2007) died peacefully on June 29, 2023, with his parents and brothers by his side.

Finn has had an amazing and inspiring journey. He is our miracle boy. He was born four months early and came dwelling to his family after six months in the NICU. From such a small beginning, he grew into an amazing fresh man. Finn recently completed his sophomore year at Corner Canyon High College in Draper, UT. He worked hard in his classes, particularly honors math, and was a part of both the drama club and the eSports team. Finn recently earned his Eagle Scout award continuing the tradition his brothers, father, and grandfather set for him in the scouting program.

Finn loved playing video games, watching video game streamers, and talking about playing video games with his brothers, Parker and Tate. They often would chat and make jokes with one another online while gaming, screaming out of fear over something tracking them, or shouting strategies at each other about how to take down the enemy. Some of Finn’s favorite games included Minecraft, Team Fortress 2, Garry’s Mod, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
